Toys on Parade, a holiday outfit for Ann Estelle.

Tan homespun dress with silk dupioni accents topped with an apron of cotton print that is scattered with antique toys-- airplanes, rocking horses, trucks, dollies, tops, bears, boats, and more! Jumbo rick-rack in royal blue makes a scalloped hem. Red satin ribbon bows.

The toy shop door is locked up tight
And ev'rything is quiet for the night
When suddenly the clock strikes twelve
The fun's begun!
The dolls are in their best arrayed
There's going to be a wonderful parade
Hark to the drum, oh, here they come
Cries ev'ryone!

Teddy bear carefully centered on the front apron bodice. So cute!

Outfit is designed and sewn by me. Dress and apron are lined with all inside seams finished. Dress closes in back with two snaps, apron ties with ribbon. Dress could be worn separately. My Ann Estelle doll is modelling the outfit which consists of:
  • Homespun tan cotton dress with silk dupioni and red lace at the collar and sleeve cuffs. The lustre of the silk really enhances this oufit.
  • Apron of cotton fabric print with antique toys. Royal blue jumbo rick-rack scallop hem, red satin ribbon bow ties in the back.
  • Beret hat of antique toys print, with silk dupioni band accented with royal blue rick-rack, red lace, and red satin ribbon bow.
